Crowd-sourcing a loud message to the GOP

April 7, 2014

April 7, 2014 -- .In The Atlas Society's new book:  The Republican Party's C ivil War: Will Freedo p;keywords=edward+hudgins">m Win?, the current political trajectory of the conflict-ridden GOP is traced out and the evidence points to disturbing conclusions. This chronic GOP fratricide will not only mean the long-term decline of the party but also of the country. Why? Because America itself is in a civil war between the makers and the takers. The makers are those who prosper by trading goods and services with their fellow citizens. And the takers? Well, they're those who use the power and coercion of government to steal from others.

If you're a maker, and are sick of seeing your hard-earned freedom chipped away by spineless, conscience-less bureaucrats in Washington, join us in sending a loud message grounded in liberty and individual rights. Here's how you can play an important part: This week we're offering our new book for free. By taking 2 minutes to download The Republican Party's Civil War: Will Freedom Win? you can be instrumental in raising the book's status in the Amazon search engine, making it easier for others to find. The more people that download the book, the higher it will rank. With your help, we can push it up to best-seller status, making the arguments of the book impossible for GOP establishment cretins to ignore.  After you read the book, take a few minutes to rate and review it. A review can be as short as 2 sentences. This also will attract more readers.

The book's authors call for radical realignment. Constituencies rejecting the restoration of liberty should be allowed — or asked — to leave. A modernist GOP should renew itself with  fresh blood: entrepreneurial wealth creators, young people, and immigrants.

You can be part of this crowd-sourced revolution and boost the ideas to the center of national debate. In fact you, our readers, are the key players here.

What do we have to lose? A republic.

Update 1, Monday April 7: Wow--we're on the move, thanks to you, our readers. Today we jumped about 5,000 notches in the free Kindle best-seller list, in the category of "Political Philosophy" to take the #1 position. We edged out The Communist Manifesto and Reclaiming Socialism on the way up. Nice work! But we're still in day 1 of this 5-day challenge. Obstacles remain. After this week, we'll go back to being listed in the paid Kindle rankings, which are far more competitive. However, with enough downloads and rating and review activity this week, the book should gain enough momentum to immediately start climbing the paid charts this Saturday--if you, our readers, keep spreading the word, encouraging friends to download the book!

Update #3: April 9, 6:56 pm:

Whoa, now we're #1 in the free Kindle "Politics and Government" category, edging out the United States Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and the Bill of Rights.. Keep up the juggernaut! Remember, the real test will be when the book reverts back to the "paid" (not free) book rankings. You're still in the driver's seat, and instrumental in what happens after this week is up.
